Laser Therapy

Lasers are used for a range of indications: vascular changes, some types of pigmentation and improving skin texture. The first question is whether laser treatment is right for your skin and for this particular concern.

Consultations in Sofia (Strelbishte) in English, French, Spanish and Bulgarian.

Who it is for

  • For vascular changes and redness suitable for laser treatment
  • For certain pigment changes — after dermatoscopic assessment
  • For improving skin texture and tone

How it works

  1. 1 Consultation and assessment of the indication
  2. 2 Discussion of the expected number of sessions, results and downtime
  3. 3 A test treatment for more sensitive skin, when appropriate
  4. 4 The procedure and an aftercare protocol

My approach

„Laser treatment is useful when the indication is right and expectations are realistic. We clarify this at the consultation, before planning a procedure.“

— Dr. Stefany Kraevska

Good to know

  • 1

Pigmented lesions are treated with a laser only after a dermatoscopic assessment, never blindly.

  • 2

    Most indications need several sessions.

  • 3

Sun protection after laser treatment is a must; otherwise you risk the opposite effect: new dark spots.

After the consultation

Redness and a feeling of warmth in the area are normal for the first few hours to days. You receive aftercare instructions, including the sun protection you must use.

Prices and duration depend on the individual case and are confirmed when you book.

Frequently asked questions

Which device do you use?

The specific device depends on the clinic and the indication — we confirm it at the consultation, together with the expected number of sessions.

Is the procedure painful?

The sensation is usually described as brief warm 'snaps'. Cooling or local anaesthesia is used when needed.

What is the best season for it?

Laser treatment is not done on tanned or sunburnt skin, and the treated area must be protected from the sun afterwards. That is why, for many procedures, the months with less sun are more convenient; we agree the timing at the consultation.
